COM 400 -- COMMUNICATION ETHICS:
3 Credits
This writing-intensive course provides students with an overview of ethical standards relevant to social behavior and an in-depth study of contemporary ethical issues facing communicators. Concepts of truth, confidentiality, conflict of interest, social justice, and other issues will be studied from the perspective of several subdisciplines of communication, including, but not limited to, mass communication, public relations and journalism.
PREREQUISITE: Senior standing
