COM 450 --
COOPERATIVE EDUCATION:
3 Credits
Students work full time for a semester or during the summer
at a Communication-related firm.
PREREQUISITE: Junior or Senior standing
COM 461 -- INTERNSHIP:
3 Credits
Students may intern at advertising, public relations, publishing,
and broadcasting companies. Working approximately 15 hours per
week under professional supervision, they learn how to apply their
education to the everyday demands of these positions.
REQUIRED: Junior or Senior standing, at least a 2.75 GPA, and
the recommendation of the Department Chair.
COM 462 -- INTERNSHIP:
6 Credits
Same as COM 461, except student will work approximately 25-30
hours per week.
