Brooks Aylor, Ph.D.

Associate Professor

When not on campus, Brooks enjoys spending quality time with his two terriers, Rudy (Cairn) and Simon (Westie).

Brooks earned his M.A. and B.A. in Communication and Theatre Arts at Arkansas State University, before completing his doctoral degree at University of Arizona in Tucson.

At La Salle, Brooks teaches courses in the communication management track, including persuasion and communication theory, as well as research methods, public speaking, and debate. He chairs the Faculty Development Committee, and is a member of the Arts and Sciences Curriculum Committee. His research interests have included instructional and interpersonal communication. Brooks has been published in numerous communication journals and is the author or co-author of several book chapters.
