DPS Perception digital video editing workstation, editing is done on a computer
without working with tape. You load your footage onto the computer's hard drive and
once stored, you can click, drag, and drop your footage anywhere in your program. All of
the editing is done on screen by simply cutting and pasting, just as you would when word
processing. And since you're working with digital images, you can make all
types of picture transformations. Replacing shots is easy because nothing is put to tape until
