Salle University offers an award winning, innovative, and combined
program in elementary and special education that is approved by
the Pennsylvania Department of Education and leads to an Instructional
I certification in elementary education (K-6) and special education
(K-12).

Students
enrolled in the ESE program also major in American Studies (other
majors may be selected, but choosing another major may require additional
semesters of course work). The American Studies (AMST) major views
American culture through the perspectives of three interdisciplinary
courses as well as through courses in American history, literature,
philosophy, religion, and fine arts.
