Special Education Certification Option: (graduate courses can be taken at undergraduate tuition rates while still in the undergradute program). For an additional 12 graduate credits, special education certification is possible.

Summer between junior and senior year: Summer I: EDC 644 (Assessment); Summer II: EDC 645 and EDC 661 (summer practicum). The practicum runs for four weeks and is located in the Hatboro/Horsham School District. These courses take the place of these undergraduate courses: EDC 308/EDC 310. Fall after graduation: EDC 667 (implementing the IEP in inclusive classrooms). The 667 course is a hybrid that can be taken fully on-line if the graduate is teaching out of the area.
