calculate your GPA in your major, simply follow these
procedures: |

Which courses are to be used in the calculation of the
GPA of your major?
|
|
|
|
All
courses that are required for completion of the major.
|

|
|
|
2.
|
List
each course along with its corresponding credit worth.
|
|
|
|
EX:
BIO210 is worth 4 credits |
| |
|
|
|
3.
|
Multiply
the number of credits by the numeric grade (value) that
you received for the course. This will provide you the
quality points for the course. |

|
|
EX:
You received a grade of B- in BIO210
Using the table at the top right of this page, find
the corresponding numerical value. Thus:

A
B- grade = 2.67 |
| |
|
|
The
BIO210 course = 4 credits |
| |
|
|
4
X 2.67 = 10.68 |
| |
|
|
Your
quality points for this course= 10.68 |
| |

Use
this formula for each course you have taken in your major.

5.

Add
the Quality Points from each of your courses. |

6.
|
Divide
the total number of quality points by the total number
of credits. |
