Simply stated, the student's role in the advising process should be a proactive one. This is your college education... get involved…plan…make choices…tap resources!
  

You should become familiar with the policies and procedures that govern the academic programs at La Salle. Please refer to the University website, the Portal, the Student Guide or the current University Catalog if you have questions regarding your responsibilities.

A large part of the college experience resides in the shared management of your academic program…shared among you, your professors, your advisor, and other appropriate University staff
