Overview

We are again offering the "European Seminar" course in Spring/Summer 2006. Over the past five years over 120 MBA students have participated in this unique travel study educational opportunity. Preliminary itinerary plans include a 12 day trip between Spring and Summer semesters to Brussels Belgium and Munich Germany (Saturday April 29th through Wednesday May 10th). The cost will be $2,400 for travel fees plus tuition for three credits. This will include lodging, all breakfasts, several lunches and a group dinner. Accommodations and transportation are arranged by the MBA office and include major airline flights and 3-star hotels (double occupancy). In addition to cultural and social events, students visit several European and US companies as well as governmental agencies.

Participating students are required to complete a term paper and a team-based research paper for 3 graduate credits. Course requirements also include 7 Saturday sessions at the Newtown Campus and a mandatory 2 hour wrap-up session in June. The course emphasizes International Finance and International Marketing and can fulfill a requirement in Finance, Marketing, International Business Specialization or an open elective.
