| Qualifications |
| Demonstrates superior scholastic achievement, academic integrity, and professional leadership potential and/or marked achievement in the field of nursing. |
| Candidates must be enrolled in a baccalaureate or masters program accredited by body for professional nursing. May also be enrolled in post-master, doctoral, or post-doctoral nursing program. |
Undergraduate Nursing Criteria
- Have completed 1/2 of nursing curriculum
- Achieve academic excellence (GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale; 3.5 or higher for RN-BSN)
- Rank in the upper 35 percentile of the graduating class
- Meet the expectation of academic integrity
Graduate Nursing Criteria
- Have completed 1/4 of the nursing curriculum
- Achieve academic excellence (GPA of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale)
- Meet the expectation of academic integrity

| New Sigma Theta Tau members are inducted annually in the Spring. The induction ceremony for 2008-09 will be held on Friday, March 27, 2009 at 6:00pm on the La Salle University Campus in the Dan Rodden Theater. |
