Kappa Delta Chapter - School of Nursing

Demonstrates superior scholastic achievement, academic integrity and professional leadership potential and/or marked achievement in the field of nursing.

Candidates must be enrolled in a baccalaureate or masters program accredited by body for professional nursing. May also be enrolled in post-master, doctoral or post-doctoral nursing program. Students who have completed at least one-half of the required nursing component of the baccalaureate curriculum or a minimum of one-fourth of the required graduate curriculum and have demonstrated ability in nursing shall be eligible.

Baccalaureate students must achieve a GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale. Graduate students must achieve a GPA of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale.

Induction

New Sigma Theta Tau members are inducted annually. The induction ceremony for 2005-06 will be held on Friday February 10, 2006 at 6:30 PM on the La Salle University Campus in the Union Ballroom
