The
School of Nursing and Health Sciences and its Neighborhood Nursing Center will be positioned
as a recognized provider of quality educational and public health
programs serving urban populations.
Purpose
The organization's general purpose is to provide access
to public health, educational and community services to under-served
populations residing in a multicultural, diverse urban community.
Emphasis is placed on health promotion, injury prevention, screening,
detection, and referral.
