Purpose:
To help sustain and improve the health status of older adults, and
in accordance with the vision of the Department of Aging for the
future of older Pennsylvanians through collaboration, the La Salle
University Neighborhood Nursing Center and School of Nursing staff,
Senior Center staff members and volunteers as well as undergraduate
and graduate nursing students develop and coordinate screening,
prevention, referral and advocacy programs.
Staff:
Programs are conducted by public health nurses. Graduate and undergraduate
nursing students also assist with selected programs.
