Nursing at the Backstretch, Philadelphia Park, Bensalem, PA

Purpose:
Health promotion, health education and screenings are conducted in the backstretch of Philadelphia Park for uninsured and underinsured employees of the Backstretch. Horsemen and women receive appropriate referrals and follow-up for health and social services to local area agencies such as Health Link and the Bucks County Health Department.
Staff:
Services are provided by public health nurses and community health outreach workers. Graduate and undergraduate nursing students also assist with selected screenings and immunizations.
