The Independence Blue Cross Supplemental Nursing Education Grant Program and the Pennsylvania Higher Education Nursing Education Grant Program are available for the fall and spring semesters. These programs provide scholarship assistance to financially needy full-time BSN students who demonstrate and maintain a 3.0 grade point average. To be eligible for consideration, students must complete a Common Scholarship Application (copies are available through Student Financial Services) and a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form. |

The U. S. Department of Health and Human Services’ Scholarships for Disadvantaged Students Program is available for the fall and spring semesters. This program provides scholarship assistance to full-time BSN students who meet the federal government’s eligibility criteria based on family size and adjusted gross income. To be eligible for consideration, students must complete a Common Scholarship Application (copies are available through Student Financial Services) and a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form. |

Graduate
Student Scholarships from Nurses Educational Funds, Inc. Application
deadline is March 1 every year. Application forms are available

Federal
Advanced Nurse Education and Nurse Anesthetist Traineeships
are available for fall and spring semester support for fully accepted
graduate nursing students in an MSN degree track or post master's
certificate. Students must be taking six or more credits in the semester
of support. Applications are included with the fall and spring registration
packets. The amount awarded to the University for traineeships varies
each year. Students must apply for traineeships on or before the deadline
indicated on the application. Late applications cannot be processed.

Several
Graduate Assistantships are awarded by the University for fully
accepted graduate nursing students in a degree track or post master's
certificate. These are available for fall and spring semesters as
well as one Graduate Assistant for the summer session. Students must
be taking six or more credits in each semester of support. In exchange
for ten hours of work each week in the Nursing Program such as assisting
faculty members, the directors and the Dean, each Graduate Assistant
receives tuition credit for six academic credits. Applications are
included with the summer registration packet for the following year.
Applications are also sent out when a Graduate Assistantship becomes
available during the year. Students must apply for Graduate Assistantships
on or before the deadline indicated on the application. Late applications
