activities
Kennedy’s
consulting activities include developing methods
to minimize the problems associated with the use
of probabilistic phrases by financial strategy
experts within a major Wall Street firm, and analysis
of the capital budgeting decision and the evaluation
of technical managers at major hospitals in the
Philadelphia region.
He
has published research on the extractive petroleum
industry in the Journal of Accounting, on computer
assisted systems engineering in Interface, on
group decision support systems in the Journal
of Management Systems and Omega, and on translating
verbal phrases into numerical probabilities in
the Journal of Behavioral Decison Making. He is
currently engaged in research on developing behaviorally
anchored rating scales for teaching evaluation.
