Profile
Accounting Professor John (“Jack”) D. Zook received his B.S. in Mathematics from St. Joseph’s University and his MBA (Finance concentration) from Drexel University. He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant and a Personal Financial Specialist (AICPA designation). Currently, his teaching and research interests are in taxation and financial planning.
On a professional basis, he is a shareholder in a medium-sized, regional public accounting firm and focuses on tax structuring, financial reporting formats for hedge and mezzanine funds, financial planning for entrepreneurs, and general business planning.
Professor Zook has contributed articles in such publications as the Pennsylvania CPA Journal, Taxation for Accountants, Taxation for Lawyers, and Personal Financial Planning.
