The Administrative Assistant provides administrative and program support for University Ministry and Service, a unit within the Division of Student Affairs. The Administrative Assistant is based in the unit’s College Hall location and is responsible for the following:
- Overseeing office management.
- Handle routine office functions required for the smooth, efficient operation of the office.
- Supervising student workers.
- Managing office inventory and ordering office supplies within allocated budgets.
- Receiving and screening telephone calls and visitors.
- Developing printed materials for use within the unit.
- Updating web information in a timely manner.
- Processing payment of invoices.
Requirements:
- Must have excellent computer, communication and organizational skills, especially Microsoft Office, specifically, Word, Excel and Publisher.
- Demonstrated ability to handle details and work in a multi-task environment.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
