A: At LaSalle we register all of the known MAC addresses of gaming consoles with the Clean Access Server so online gaming should be as simple as plugging in the ethernet cord and playing. Q: What should I do if I cannot play my console online? A: If you cannot connect and play online you should do the following:
Make sure that your console is capable of online play Write down the MAC address of your gaming console. (Find my MAC Address) Call the Helpdesk at (215)-951-1788 and provide us with your name and the MAC Address of your console Wait for our response to let you know if everything has been taken care of
Q: What do I do if a specific game does not work online? A: Usually, you should be fine with online play.
However, there are a few cases where gaming servers require specific ports to be opened on the network. In this case you should contact the HelpDesk at (215)-951-1788
so that we can try to resolve the issue for you. Unfortunately, in most cases the needed port cannot be opened due to network security risks. This would mean that the game will not work on our network for online play.
