confirming that you have done so or if you believe that these allegations are
incorrect.

confirming that you have done so or if you believe that these allegations are
incorrect.
Failure to comply within 24 hours
will result in the restriction of your network privileges and possible
disciplinary action with the Division of Student Affairs.
It is highly suggested you remove the
peer-to-peer application you are using.

the following recipients:
- The student in
violation (To)
- Ed Nickerson (Bcc)
- Alan Wendell (Bcc)
- The student’s computer
information is added to a tracking database.
- The student has 24
hours to contact the Resnet helpdesk to set up an appointment for one of
the technicians to verify that the illegal files and
the software program has been removed from the
computer.
- If the student does not
comply within 24 hours they will be given restricted access to the
network. In order to be reconnected they will need to contact Thomas
Garro (215) - 951 - 5102 or garrot1@lasalle.edu.
NOTE: LaSalle Resnet Helpdesk workers will have access to the list of IP
addresses with the corresponding computer names and MAC addresses in the
event the student calls the help desk not knowing why they have been
disconnected.
- If a student is
detected sharing illegal files more than once or they do not comply with
the above requirements, then the matter will be forwarded to and handled
by the Division of Student Affairs.
