St. Edward Residence Hall
History
- St. Edward Hall was built in 1962.
- The residence hall is named after St. Edward the Confessor, former King and the Patron Saint of England. St. Edward was instrumental in the construction and expansion of Westminster Abbey.
Did You Know?
- La Salle University provides Shuttle Bus service during the Fall and Spring semesters. Shuttles operate from 7:30 a.m. to 2:00 a.m. Sunday to Thursday and from 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 a.m. Friday and Saturday. There are several shuttle stops around campus, including one right in front of St. Edward Hall.
- Since Fall 2000, residents of St. Edward paint either an E or F on the wall between the two resident halls. This is the students way of "leaving their mark" at the University.
