How do I get my refund and money for books?

If you have a credit balance on your account and if you are a financial aid recipient, you should contact the Office of Student Financial Services. We will need to verify your eligiblity for your financial aid. This is ususally done at the beginning of each week and by Tuesday afternoon sent to the Bursar's Office for the processing of your refund. Generally, refunds are processed within one week. Please note, that in the beginning of all semesters, refunds will take approximately two weeks to process due to the large number of credit balances. Please note that no refund will be processed until the drop-add period is over.

LaSalle University must process all refunds within two weeks if the credit is due to Federal Financial Aid only. For example, if you are charged $2,000 for the fall semester and you have a student loan for $3,000. The credit would be from Federal financial aid. LaSalle is required by federal law to have a refund processed within two weeks of the funds being credited to the account.

Refunds are mailed to the student's home address. No Exceptions.

If you have a credit balance, you may elect to have a portion of this credit balance transferred to your Gold Card Account. Many students use this option to purchase books during the beginning of the semester when it may take a few weeks to get your refund processed.

Please see the Bursar's Office for more information on how to do this.
