Pre-semester Requirements

Semester Prior to Capstone Start

Due Date		Activity
Mid-semester*		Start project discussion with advisor.
Last day of classes		Submit project proposal to program director for faculty review and comments.
Week of Final Examination		Register student(s) for research project. Update proposal based on results of faculty comments.

* For fall and spring semesters, the mid-semester is the 8th week of classes. For fall, this is approximately the third week of October and for the spring, this is approximately the last week of February. For the summer semester, the mid-semester is the 6th week of classes which is approximately the end of June.
