Clinical Interests: I am a cognitive-behaviorally oriented licensed clinical psychologist with a special interest in problem-solving therapy. I supervise the Step Up Program which provides psychological assessment and prescribed behavior therapy for adults with intellectual disabilities and sexual behavior problems. I also have a background in clinical health psychology across the lifespan, so within the Step Up Program I incorporate physical health into the clients’ comprehensive case conceptualizations.
Research Interests: My research interests are in social problem solving, problem-solving therapy, psychological interventions for developmentally disabled populations, and family aspects of coping with illness.
