Education - Admissions Requirements

In order to be considered for admission as a degree candidate to the M.A. in Education Program, an applicant must be a graduate of an accredited college or university. A degree candidate's file must include the following before any action can be taken:

Application Form
All items on the application form should be completed. This can be completed online.

$35 Application Fee
This is used to cover the cost of handling the application. It is required of all applicants, and cannot be refunded. Make check or money order payable to: La Salle University. Fee waived for on-line applications.

Official Transcripts
Provide a current official transcript from each college attended to date (graduate or undergraduate).

Miller Analogies Test
Request that your test results be forwarded to the Graduate Program in Education. Further information about the MAT may be found in the Graduate Education brochure. This test may be waived if you are holding another Master's Degree or held an undergraduate GPA of 3.4 or over.

Two Letters Of Recommendation
No particular form is required. Completed applications (including all of the items listed above) should be received no later than four weeks prior to the start of the term for which you are applying. Preference is given to letters of recommendation from current and/or prior employers.
