Master's Degree Requirements

Generally graduate students who are enrolled in the M.A. Degree Program are required to complete the following course of study. Program modifications to address individual needs and experiences are addressed during the advisement period. This Program is designed for teachers seeking permanent certification.

Students may transfer up to 6 credits ("B" grade or better and with the approval of the Director) toward electives. Courses from other La Salle graduate programs may be used for electives with approval of the Director. An approved Independent Study may also be used as an elective.


Academic Advising
Initial program planning is set up in consultation with the Program Director and/or the Program Advisor. While students are responsible for monitoring their own progress through the program, individual advising may be requested as needed.
