FAQ's

Meeting the Needs of Today's Men & Women

Does La Salle University offer graduate programs during the daytime?
La Salle's graduate programs are geared toward the adult learner. Most courses are offered, depending on the program, in the late afternoon, evening and Saturday mornings. The exceptions to this are the Psy.D. and Full-Time and One-Year MBA programs that offer daytime classes.

Can I be admitted conditionally to a graduate program? Do I have to take a standardized test to be admitted to a graduate program?
Each program has their own specific set of admission requirements. To view the admission requirements for the program(s) you are interested in, click on one of the graduate program links on the top or side of this web page.

When can I apply for admission to a program?
For most graduate programs at La Salle students can apply and be admitted for the Fall (September), Spring (January) and Summer (May) semesters. It is recommended that you apply for admission no later than one month prior to the semester you wish to begin. In certain cases applications may be accepted up to the beginning of the semester. However, there are specific deadlines for the Doctor of Nursing Practice, One-Year MBA, Psy.D., and Speech-Language-Hearing Science programs. Please check with the individual web pages for the proper deadlines. International students should apply for admission no later than two months prior to the beginning of the semester in which they wish to begin.

I'd like to meet with an advisor to discuss a graduate program. How do I do this?
La Salle has two ways to help you meet your goal. Our Graduate Directors meet individually with prospective students to discuss their interest and answer their questions about attending La Salle University. To request an appointment, click on the "Contact Us" link in the upper left hand corner of this web page. We also host Open Houses and Information Sessions periodically through out the year. Click the "Open House" link on the side of the web page to check the schedule and make a reservation.

Does La Salle offer distance learning courses over the web?
Currently, only the Human Capital Development, Information Technology Management and Computer Information Science programs are completely web-based. However, we do provide the convenience of locations throughout the greater Philadelphia region with class times convenient to adults. For more information, click on the "Convenience" link on the side of this web page.

Can I apply online for admission to a graduate program?
Sure! We provide a very easy (and Free) way to complete your application online. Click on the "Applications" link at the top of this web page.
