Information Technology Leadership - Frequently Asked Questions
Is this a full-time or part-time program?
This is a part-time program. Students usually take 1 or 2 courses
each semester.
What time of the day are the classes held?
Most classes are scheduled from 6:15 to 8:55 during the fall and
spring semesters, and 6:00 to 9:15 during the summer semesters.
Can I complete the program at Bucks without going to the
Main Campus, or vice versa?
All concentrations are available at Main Campus and the Bucks Campus.
You can complete the program by attending at only one campus, however,
it you wish to complete in a swifter fashion, you may take courses
at both campuses.
What is the average age of the student?
Most of the students in the program are working professionals. There
is a wide range of student with experience ranging from those with
a few years of work experience, to those in the middle of their
career looking for a change in profession.
Do I have to take the MAT, GRE or GMAT?
Yes, you are required to take either the MAT, GMAT or GRE
for acceptance into the program.
What are the cutoff scores for the MAT, GRE and GMATs?
We expect students to be above the 50th percentile on graduate norms,
but take all credentials into consideration.
What is the minimum GPA La Salle University looks for to
be accepted?
We usually require a 3.0 but take all credentials into consideration.
Which is better to take the GMAT, MAT or GRE?
If you are applying to several programs, including doctoral programs,
or if you do well on timed tests you should probably take the GRE.
If you have been out of college for several years, or if you read
widely you will usually do better with the GMAT. Review directions
and sample questions before deciding.
How long after my file is complete will I hear a decision
and how will I be notified of the decision?
Usually within two weeks, and you will be notified by mail.
What are the deadlines for each semester for applying?
We have rolling admission, but 3 weeks before the start of classes
is the usual deadline.
Is parking a problem?
There is secure on-campus parking available on all campuses.
Is financial aid available?
Some forms of financial aid are available and it is based on student
need.
