The Graduate Program at La Salle University School of Nursing & Health Sciences is pleased to announce that we have been awarded funding for the 2009-2010 academic year through the Nurse Faculty Loan Program (NFLP) by the Health Resources and Service Administration (HRSA). The purpose of the Nurse Faculty Loan Program (NFLP) is to increase the number of qualified nursing faculty. The program provides loans to nursing students who are enrolled in a graduate (MSN) program of study that will prepare them to be qualified nurse educators.
Students who are taking or plan to take this three course sequence are eligible to apply. If you are a loan recipient, you must complete the education program (3 courses) and following graduation may cancel up to 85% of the NFLP loan while serving as a full-time nurse faculty member. You must be enrolled in one of the education courses to be eligible.
Students who are interested in this program should contact the Graduate nursing office at 215-951-1322 if you are interested in the program.
