Theology and Ministry - Admissions Requirements

To be accepted for admission into the program, an applicant must present:

  • Evidence of successful academic achievement in completing a baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution of higher education. Applicants are to request that an official transcript be sent to the Director.
  • Unless a waiver is granted, a minimum of 26 credits in a combination of religion, theology, humanistic subjects, or ministry-related work.
  • The Application for Admission accompanied by the stipulated ($35.00) application fee payable to La Salle University.
  • Applicants are to include a letter of intent outlining their personal and professional goals related to a graduate degree in Religion
  • Applicants to the Pastoral Counseling program are to have two letters of recommendation forwarded to the Director of Graduate Religion.
