Welcome International Students
Satisfying Careers, Rewarding Lives Welcome to La Salle University. If you are reading this, you are likely sitting at a computer far away from campus and the city of Philadelphia. No matter where you are, we are very pleased that you are thinking about applying and possibly attending La Salle. Our goal is to make the admission process simple for you. While you are here on our website, please make sure that you visit the links on your left. These pages will tell you about scholarships that you may qualify for, living and learning in Philadelphia, and student life on campus. There are two offices that will help you through the Admission and Student Visa process. The Admissions Office will review your academic credentials to insure that you meet our standards for admission. Once we receive all of your application materials (click here to see what determines a completed application) we can make an admission decision. After you have been accepted to the University, and have submitted your confirmation deposit, the Multicultural and International Student Center will help you through the Student Visa process. As a student here, you will join over 100 other undergraduate and graduate international students who come from countries throughout the world. Click here for a list of countries represented on campus. You can find out more about our international community by clicking here to visit the Multicultural & International Center (MIC) homepage. La Salle's MIC is your special place on campus where you can always turn for assistance, advice or to gather with new friends. If you are interested in an English language program, La Salle University currently does not offer an English as a Second Language (ESL) program specifically for undergraduate students. However, you can visit the ESL Plus program web site to find more details about the program that La Salle does offer. The website includes program information, application procedures, and contact information. If you have any questions about undergraduate international student admission, please e-mail our Dean of Admission and Student Financial Services, Jim Plunkett at plunkett@lasalle.edu. I want to wish you the best of luck. We look forward to welcoming you to our Lasallian community. Jim Plunkett, Executive Director of Admission |
