Loans for students in the Pre-Med, Pre-Speech Therapy, and RN Bridge programs
Students pursuing the Pre-Med, Pre-Speech, and RN Bridge Programs are considered fifth year undergraduate students for the purposes of the stafford loan. Student's pursuing a Pre-Med, Pre-Speech, and RN Bridge Programs must be enrolled for 6 credits in a semester to be eligible for stafford loans. Pre-Med, Pre-Speech, and RN Bridge Programs borrowing limits yearly are $5,500 subsidized and $7,000, with the subsidized portion being based on a student's need. The eligibility for both of these programs is limited to 12 consecutive months of borrowing for the stafford loan. Eligibility for these stafford loans may also be limited by the undergraduate stafford aggregate limits of $57,500.
