I chose La Salle because of its strong sense of community. When I visited campus for a Blue & Gold Day a few weeks after I came to shadow a student, other students recognized me and asked what they could do to help with any of my questions or concerns. I was amazed that even students who were not obligated to help me looked out for me and readily welcomed me into the Lasallian family. I knew then that I wanted to be an Explorer.
I am continuously surprised by the accessibility and commitment of the faculty and staff here at La Salle. I have had countless professors reach out to me and make sure that I succeed. From Dr. Ballough who learned my name in addition to all 120 of his Anatomy & Physiology students’ names in just two weeks; to Dr. Stow, who worked with me for an entire semester to help me understand (and pass) history; I was surprised to find that my professors are truly always here for me.
