The Twenty-Second Annual Charter Dinner
Leadership Award to be presented to
J. Anthony Hayden, ’67
Hayden Real Estate Investments, LLC
Normandy Farm Hotel and Conference Center
Blue Bell, Pennsylvania
Saturday, March 22, 2014
The Charter Dinner celebrates the founding of La Salle College on March 20, 1863, and
pays tribute to the generations of Christian Brothers, laypersons, and clergy whose dedication
has made La Salle University the prominent institution that it is today.
Since its founding, La Salle has played a leadership role in Philadelphia as both an educational
institution and a responsible corporate citizen. The University recognizes those who display
outstanding leadership in the corporate, civic, governmental, or religious communities with
the presentation of La Salle University's Leadership Award.
La Salle University is pleased to announce that J. Anthony Hayden will receive the 2014 Leadership Award. A graduate of La Salle’s Class of 1967, Hayden has approximately 40 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry as an executive, broker, investor, owner, and operator. Currently, he is Chairman of Hayden Real Estate Investments, LLC, a privately held commercial real estate investment and acquisition firm that he founded in 2004. Prior to forming Hayden Real Estate Investments, Hayden was Chairman of Beacon Commercial Real Estate, LLC, and spent more than 21 years at Cushman & Wakefield.
Since its inception, the La Salle University Charter Dinner and Leadership Award Ceremony has raised more than $4 million, and proceeds have been used to enhance the University’s Scholarship Fund, thereby benefiting many La Salle students.
