Parents Association

Welcome to the La Salle University Parents’ Association Web page and thank you for visiting!

As a valued member of the La Salle Community, we encourage you to become an active member of the Parents’ Association.  We have opportunities for our parents to volunteer whether you live near or far.  Our parent volunteers are amazing ambassadors of the University!  It has been personally rewarding for me to volunteer at Open Houses, make phone calls to prospective and incoming students, and hold a reception in my home for new Explorer Families.

My son, Patrick, is entering his final year at La Salle and his academic and personal journey has been incredible.  After visiting over 25 college campuses with numerous acceptances and generous scholarship offers, he chose La Salle for its welcoming environment, Honors Program, Campus Ministry and the numerous student run activities.  He has been active throughout his time in Campus Ministry, the Masque, Student Government, Travel Study – China, Brazil, Argentina and Rome, Captain of Ultimate Frisbee team.  His major is Sociology and Public Administration with a minor in Spanish and Leadership and Global Understanding.  This semester he will be studying abroad in Rome, Italy.

So many opportunities were made available to Patrick as a student at La Salle University and fortunately he was most receptive to them.  Patrick is an outstanding young man and I am very proud of all that he has accomplished.  His confidence and leadership skills have continued to excel as a student and I can only envision how his time abroad will only enhance his personal and professional development.

La Salle University is inspired by St. John Baptist de La Salle, and is shaped by Lasallian and Catholic values.  The La Salle University experience prepares students for a lifetime of personal development, service and success – and has prepared Patrick extremely well.

We invite you to volunteer to meet and greet prospective students and their families at Open Houses, welcome new families on Move-In Day, make welcome phone calls to prospective families or families from an incoming freshman class.  There will be many opportunities for you to network with other La Salle families and alumni at various events held throughout the year.  All of these activities can be independent of your student so that you will each have your own unique experiences at La Salle University.

If you ever need assistance, please e-mail  We will do our best to respond to you as quickly as we can.

Thank you for choosing La Salle University and never stop exploring!
