The Annual Fund helps students in so many ways, such as providing financial assistance and scholarships. La Salle students come from diverse backgrounds and different means. The Annual Fund makes it possible for La Salle to continue its mission to educate deserving students of modest means.
The Parents' Fund is one component of the Annual Fund. In fiscal year 2008, parents made over $70,000 in Annual Fund gifts to the university. Parents of current and past students are solicited each year. La Salle recognizes the special commitment of parents who contribute to the Parents’ Fund. Tuition and fees only cover 80% of what it costs to operate La Salle University. Annual Fund gifts from our alumni, parents, and friends help to make up this difference in expenses.
Through the Parents' Fund, La Salle can continue to provide a quality education to your student by keeping up with technology, assisting in financial aid, and upgrading residence halls and campus facilities. Unrestricted gifts help provide La Salle with the flexibility to respond to the areas of greatest need and opportunities to better your student's college experience.
Make no mistake about it – parent participation and giving does make the difference in our continuing effort to attract and maintain deserving students. Any time a parent contributes to the La Salle Parents' Fund it directly and immediately benefits your students. If we are to prepare students for successful careers and rewarding lives, we must provide the necessary resources, technology, and financial assistance for students to receive a Catholic, Lasallian education.
La Salle is already a great institution, but we need your continued support in order to continue to advance our important mission! Please consider making a contribution today. Visit www.lasalle.edu/makeagift to contribute right now! |
