On September 12, 2004, La Salle University launched the public phase of Shoulder to Shoulder, a $25 million initiative for the University to build a new Science and Technology Center. This major gifts initiative is designed to bring the La Salle Community together in support of two key projects that, once realized, will sustain the University in the future: funding the construction of a new science and technology facility, and strengthening the University’s endowment.

This is a time in La Salle’s history when we need everyone capable of participating to consider doing so. Currently, over 140 gifts and pledges totaling $20 million have been secured toward our $25 million goal.

I invite you to learn more about Shoulder to Shoulder and encourage you to think about joining us in securing the future for our alma mater and the many students La Salle serves. If you have any questions or would like more information, please contact Terry Travis (travis@lasalle.edu) or Brian Elderton (elderton@lasalle.edu) at
La Salle University.

Sincerely,
J. Hugh Devlin, ‘64
