La Salle’s Biology alumni are doing almost anything you can imagine as biological researchers . . . teachers . . . marine biologists . . . geneticists . . . environmental professionals . . . botanists . . . zoologists . . . doctors . . . dentists . . . veterinarians . . . pharmaceutical salespeople . . . lawyers . . . and even artists. That is no surprise given the fact that almost 10% of all La Salle alumni are graduates of the Biology program. La Salle has been the source of outstanding contributors to all fields involving the life sciences almost since the inception of the University in 1863. Today, La Salle’s Biology graduates boast a very impressive placement rate of almost 100% to graduate schools, health professions school or jobs. That figure includes a nearly perfect 98% placement rate into medical schools for those students recommended for admission by our Pre-Health Advisory Committee.
Our success rate does not occur by accident but by design. It is the result of the determined efforts of both faculty and students, coupled with a demanding yet supportive academic program. We are very proud of the achievements of our graduates, including the significant contributions many have made to the community through their humanitarian efforts. Join them by first taking a closer look at La Salle’s Biology program today. |
