The faculty you will meet at La Salle serve as mentors and friends to the large but close knit community that comprises the Biology Department. Equally important, each is also a scholar in her or his own right. Will you have an opportunity to relax in the hallways or in a faculty member’s office and discuss the effects of chemical agents on the nervous system or molecular control of tissue regeneration with an active researcher in the area? Attend La Salle and the chances are that you will. And expect to interact with Biology faculty in other ways as well. They are involved in the jazz and pep bands, the karate club and as a faculty representative to the NCAA. They are people with a passion for La Salle and the students it serves.
