 “Living” Science Your hands-on experiences in the living labs are an integral part of the curriculum at La Salle. Most of the science courses, including biology, have a laboratory component within them. Your time in the labs will provide you with a unique opportunity to work with living organisms, study basic processes and gain valuable insight into the investigatory process by devising your own experiments. Inside the labs, you will first be guided by professors to conduct highly structured experiments. Once you become proficient, the experiments become more open-ended regarding scheduling and supervision. You will soon learn to conform your activities to fit the organism’s or process’s schedule, not the other way around.  |
