Profile
Dr. Seitchik received her bachelor’s
degree from Chestnut Hill College and her Ph.D. in Developmental Biology from
the Medical College of Pennsylvania. Following her doctoral degree she taught
high school biology and chemistry at a charter school in the Philadelphia area
for two years. After that time, Dr. Seitchik joined the faculty at La Salle
University.
Her
research area of interest is in differential genomic activity during early
amphibian development. Dr. Seitchik is
the Director of the Pre-Health Professions Program where she advises students
interested in applying to medical, dental, veterinary, optometry, podiatry, and
physician assistant programs.
