La Salle Student Film Screened at Cannes Film Festival

The short film Empty Pages, written, produced, and directed by five 2013 La Salle communication graduates, Catherine Zini, Sean Gubitosi, Mike McCoy, Andrew Groy, and Dave Gryzbowski, was screened at this year’s Cannes Film Festival.

Last year, the film was the Best Story Award winner at Campus MovieFest, the world’s largest student film festival. Empty Pages was one of only 23 films selected by Campus MovieFest to be screened at the Cannes Short Film Corner.

“It’s an incredible feeling that a short film made by students here at La Salle had the chance to be showcased at one of the most prestigious film festivals in the world,” McCoy said.
