The ever-changing world of business offers unlimited opportunities. To respond to them, today’s students need to be nimble, thoughtful, and well-versed in the ins and outs of business administration. That’s true for aspiring entrepreneurs or business-minded achievers hoping to contribute to a family enterprise, a nonprofit organization, or an up-and-coming franchise.

La Salle’s Business Administration program will help students design a major that supports their ambitions, whether they want to jump-start their own company or support a passion—nursing, arts, the sciences—with business expertise.

Here’s how our program will help students realize their dreams:

  • Students will work with an advisor to create an Individualized Plan of Study targeted at specific career goals. Completed by the end of sophomore year, the plan will map out courses and related work experiences.

  • Thanks to a teaching-focused faculty that understands business innovation, students will explore business’ many disciplines and build a skill set that prepares them for the challenges ahead. They’ll work in teams, experiment with project management, dive into financial planning, and deploy marketing tools.

  • Our outstanding faculty are more than just leading professionals within their disciplines. They’re also dedicated mentors and advisors. They’ll not only oversee development of the Individualized Plan of Study, they’ll work with each student to fine-tune career objectives as graduation approaches.

  • Through the La Salle Center for Entrepreneurship (LCE), students will supplement their classroom learning and enhance their portfolios with internships and workshops that cover everything from developing business plans to nurturing emerging companies.

Whether students hope to climb the corporate ladder or lend their talents to a start-up, a major in Business Administration will supply the knowledge, experience, and confidence needed to convert ideas into opportunities.
