For students interested in a career in investment management, the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation is the credential to have. The Investment and Financial Analysis track within the La Salle School of Business finance major offers students a path to this sought-after certification by preparing them to take the exam to earn the CFA designation just after graduation.
Within the capstone course for the Investment and Financial Analysis track, students take three mock exams, review the core material and practice test results, and work independently to hone their skills and prepare for the full exam.
This preparation, along with guidance on test-taking techniques and career options with the CFA designation, is designed to give students the knowledge and confidence they need to pass the rigorous exams and launch their careers. As CFAs, graduates can pursue careers in security analysis, portfolio management, and other fields within the financial services industry.
