Living Leadership

Authentic leadership begins with an enlightened sense of self-awareness. A framework for living leadership allows students to: explore leadership theory throughout the ages by participation in regular leadership literature discussion circles, take individualized self-assessments, engage in skill development trainings, practice leadership through on-campus and off-campus leadership roles and meet leaders from a broad landscape of industries.

Active Social Responsibility

As a Catholic Lasallian Business School, students are taught that it’s essential to respect the integrity of every human being regardless of which business or profession they eventually pursue.  Doing “well” and doing “good” are not mutually exclusive concepts and corporate social responsibility is a widely-accepted principle. Fellows will demonstrate active social responsibility by engaging in the communities, organizations, or causes that align with their personal values and beliefs.

Enlightened Experiential Opportunities

Through deeper reflection, immersive experiential learning, as well as significant and ongoing guidance from their mentors, students are supported and engaged in exploring various career paths and industries that will both broaden and strengthen their development and competitive edge.

Personal and Professional Development

Students will regularly assess their skills and abilities, meet with their mentor and set goals in order to achieve their fullest personal and professional potential as part of a lifelong commitment to continuous improvement. The electronic leadership portfolio will arm each student with powerful evidence and a competitive edge as they interview for internships, co-ops and full-time employment.
