GMAT Prep Workshop

La Salle University is proud to offer GMAT Prep Workshops each academic year.

The GMAT prep course meets on a Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. The course is designed to help students learn how to study for the GMAT exam. Dr. James Yoho shares his extensive knowledge of GMAT preparation and will assist and motivate students to focus on achieving the best GMAT score possible.

The GMAT is a test of general reasoning ability. In essence, the questions with which a test-taker will be greeted on test day simply are modified versions of the same GMAT questions that are available on practice tests. The GMAT exam consists of the four sections, which include an analytical writing assessment, integrated reasoning, quantitative, and verbal sections. The GMAT prep course at La Salle will provide students with

  • Strategies for managing time and pace while taking the exam
  • The skill to review and analyze sample exam questions in the following areas: critical reasoning, reading comprehension and data sufficiency
  • A sensible procedural approach for exam preparation

The GMAT prep course at La Salle will review each section of the exam and prepare students to excel on the exam. These classes fill up quickly so register as soon as possible!
