MBA Program Director John Farrell received his MBA from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania and his BA in Economics from the University of Notre Dame. Prior to joining La Salle University, he was the Assistant Dean for Graduate Studies at another AACSB-accredited university as well the Directory of its nationally-ranked Center for the Development of Leadership Skills. John has taught classes at both at the Graduate and Undergraduate levels in international business, management decision making and personal finance. He brings to the university and classroom over 28 years as a management consultant and firm executive primarily with Ernst & Young (EY) in the United States and Europe focusing on business strategy and operations. He has worked with a range of clients including Lincoln Financial, Xerox, Eaton Corporation, Associated Press, Georgia Pacific, the Bank of Greece, Fidelity Funds, EMI Music Publishing, Merrill Lynch, MetLife, Whirlpool Corporation and several US government agencies. As Program Director his responsibilities include student advising, recruitment, and managing the Part-Time Hybrid MBA Program operations at La Salle’s three campus locations: Metroplex Corporate Center in Plymouth Meeting, Bucks County Center in Newtown, and the Main Campus in Philadelphia.
