Academic Discovery Program
The Academic Discovery Program (Pennsylvania ACT 101) is a special program that provides free support services for students whose records indicate that they could benefit from extra academic assistance and who meet certain criteria for financial need. ADP helps students to develop good study habits, establish clear career goals, and compete successfully in an accelerated academic setting. Students who are selected to participate in ADP must attend a free pre-college summer program involving courses in mathematics, composition, study skills, and critical thinking before the start of their freshmen year. During the academic year, students take courses from the standard La Salle University curriculum, but they are assigned counselors, tutors, and an academic adviser to support the students in their efforts. As much as possible, each student’s program is tailored to his or her individual needs. To obtain application materials, please contact the Admission Office at 215.951.1500.
