Counseling and Health Services
Residential graduate students are eligible to use the services of the Student Health Center, the Student Counseling Center, and the Alcohol and Other Drug Education Center. The La Salle University Student Health Center is a primary health-care facility that provides acute health care and is staffed by clinical nurse practitioners. Located in the north complex of the residence halls on Olney Avenue, directly across from the Hayman Center, it is open Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. during the academic year. All residential graduate students must have a completed health history form on file. After-office hour emergencies are referred to Albert Einstein Medical Center. Security or fire rescue will transport students to Einstein Medical Center. Students are financially responsible for emergency room visits. All full-time graduate students are eligible to purchase the University-sponsored insurance plan. Brochures can be downloaded from the Student Health Center Web site or picked up in the Student Health Center. For more information, contact the Student Health Center at 215.951.1565.
