General Information:

The Collegian is a weekly publication serving La Salle University, its surrounding community, and various subscribers around the country.  We currently reach a community of about 6,000 faculty, staff and students each publication week.  The Collegian has established itself as the main source for campus and intercollegiate news, sports, and opinion

Advertising Policy and Deadlines:

Please contact the advertising manager at 215-951-1398 or collegia@lasalle.edu to place an ad.

Publication day – Thursday
Advertising submission deadline – to Advertising Manager Friday 1 PM before the ad will appear
Formatting - The only types of files that will be accepted are those in: PSD, PDF, JPEG, GIF, TIFF.
Those that do not meet these requirements will be rejected.

The editors and advertising staff of the Collegian reserve the right to refuse any advertisement at our discretion, for any reason.  The Collegian is also subject to University guidelines, which prohibit certain types of advertisements. 

We will not accept advertisements that include the following content:
-Alcohol
-Abortion
-Testing services
-Tobacco
-Contraception
-Strip Clubs
-Masseuse
-Research/term paper services
-Firearms
-School programs that are the same or similar to ones at La Salle.

The Collegian is not responsible for the distortion, blurring, or cropping of advertisements that are submitted with inappropriate dimensions.

Payment Policy:

All payments must be received within 30 days of the last ad ran. If payment is not received, no additional ads will be placed until the outstanding bill is paid. Outstanding bills will roll over into future semesters. *Prices are subject to change during the year.  Advertisers will be notified.*

Circulation and Publication Information:

The Collegian is a weekly publication which circulates 1,500 copies each printing week. Each issue is an average of 28 pages.

Pricing and Special Services-

Display Ad Rates:

Bulk Advertising Discount:

• Three or more consecutive ads – 10% discount
• Six or more consecutive ads – 15% discount
• Ten or more consecutive ads – 20% discount

Discount requires a bulk contract. Contact us for details.

Design Services:
Ads designed by our graphics/digital arts staff can be ordered for layout and copy. Subject to availability. At least one week’s notice is required.

Eighth & Quarter Page Ads: $50.00
Half & Full Page Ads: $100.00

Classifieds:

National Advertising:

Ad space for national advertisers (including agency advertisers) is available for $16.00 per column inch.

Inserts:

Please contact the advertising manager to schedule dates of insert.  Inserts must be shipped directly to the Collegian's printer two weeks before the insert runs. Contact us for more details.
