Professor Randoms

Full Name and Title: Mary E. Keunecke, adjunct professor of business.
Birthday: June 21, which happens to be the longest day of the year.
Hometown: Sarnia, Ontario, Canada

What classes do you teach here at La Salle? She teaches Organizational Behavior (BUS 203) and Business Presentation Skills (BUS 150). She enjoys teaching both but her real love is BUS 150.

Do you teach anywhere else, if so where? Keunecke also teaches at Delaware Valley College and Bucks County Community College

What’s your favorite thing about your students at La Salle? “The students at this school are incredibly dedicated to their work in the classroom,” she said.

What do you like doing outside of the classroom? When Keunecke isn’t teaching her students, she’s spending time with her family or reading. She also enjoys exercising; she is an avid member of her gym and likes running outdoors.

What’s your favorite movie? Her favorite movie is Signs. She likes the movie because it was filmed in Bucks County on Delaware Valley College property.

If you could visit anywhere in the world, where would it be? If Keunecke could travel anywhere, it would be the island of Bora Bora. “It just sounds so exotic and far away, which is why it seems like a perfect spot,” she said.

What’s the best advice you ever received or have given out? She was once given this advice: “Analyze what your talents and gifts are and try to apply them to achieve your own personal success.” Today, she shares that with others.
